Sanem & Umur’s Patmos Wedding Story
Sanem & Umur’s wedding on Patmos, Greece was a two-day celebration with 100 guests: a Greek taverna night at Aloni, followed the next day by a seaside ceremony and party at Patmos Aktis. Photographed with a documentary approach — unposed, unobtrusive and story-first — the whole weekend was shaped by sea air, soft light and genuine emotion.
Day One: A Greek Taverna Night at Aloni
The celebration began on the first evening with guests dressed in white, live Greek music and a long dinner at Aloni, a traditional taverna on Patmos. As the night went on, the tables gave way to dancing — the kind of island evening where everyone ends up on the dance floor.
Day Two: Ceremony and Party at Patmos Aktis
The next day, Sanem and Umur said their vows by the sea at Patmos Aktis on Grikos Bay, surrounded by family and friends. After the ceremony, the celebration moved under white lanterns and carried on late into the night.
Sanem and Umur also celebrated in Turkey — you can see their wedding at Manastır Otel Alaçatı as well.
