A Turkish-Indian Villa Wedding in Yalıkavak, Bodrum

Rana is Turkish, Ajit is Indian. For their wedding they chose a family villa on the hillside above Yalıkavak and brought around 120 guests together for one day in September.

Getting Ready at the Villa

The day began at the villa itself: the bride and her friends in matching robes, the groom getting ready a few rooms away, everyone moving between the terraces and the pool.

A Sunset Ceremony Above the Bay

The ceremony took place on the terrace in the early evening, with the islands off Yalıkavak behind the couple and both families gathered around them.

Dinner, Dancing and the Pool

After dinner at a long table and the speeches, the party moved under the string lights. By the end of the night, the couple and their friends had jumped into the pool.
