Merve & Jesus – A Turkish-Spanish Wedding in Granada
Granada was a natural choice for Merve and Jesus. It is the city where Jesus grew up and a place shaped by different cultures throughout its history. Wanting both their Turkish and Spanish backgrounds to be part of the celebration, they chose Palacio de los Córdova for its historic character, green surroundings and views of the Alhambra.
The wedding brought 200 guests together in a setting decorated with greenery, white lisianthus and soft pastel tones. Merve prepared in the courtyard of their boutique hotel, surrounded by close friends, while the day continued with an outdoor ceremony and an evening reception filled with music and genuine emotion. Instead of traditional wedding favours, the couple made a donation to the Spanish Cancer Association and shared the charity’s bracelets with their guests.
